Page 288 - Plants do not normally use magnetic fields as a way to determine which direction to grow, just light and gravity. The purpose for the Biotube experiment was to determine if a strong magnetic field could be used as a substitute cue for which way to grow when gravity isn't a factor.
Page 350 - The flight path diagram is a bit to the south of the acutal flight path. The correct diagram is on the Observers page.
Page 422 - the microscope photo of the recovered worms was taken by Dr. Nathaniel Szewczyk.
Page 429 states that the chunk of PAL foam which fell off of STS-114 was the third largest known piece of debris which fell off of the External Tank, with only the STS-107 and STS-112 bipods being larger. It should have been the STS-107 and STS-50 bipods.
Page 430 doesn't define the acronyms "FDO" and "GNC". FDO (pronounced "fido"), is the flight dyanmics officer, the mission control engineer responsible for calculating the shuttle's trajectory. "GNC" (pronounced "Gee En See") is the Guidance, Navigation, and Control officer.
