The CD-ROM has taken a 'minimalist' approach. It doesn't include fancy menus, flashy movies, or other bells and whistles. It concentrates on material. The video clips and photos are intentionally medium quality so more of them can be squeezed on the CD-ROM.
The CD-ROM concentrates on hard content - information the author created or obtained which is not available elsewhere. There are many exclusive items not available anywhere else.
The multimedia on this CD-ROM includes videos, audios, text, and Adobe PDF files, and a variety of other formats. They have been compiled over three years from a wide variety of sources of varying qualities. They are not just public domain products downloaded from NASA Websites. While an attempt has been made to make the files as compatible with as many different computer formats as possible there is no guarantee that any particular file can be viewed or used on any particular computer. Video clips are in Windows Media format (WMV), pictures are JPEGs, and audios are MP3 Wave files. They will use whatever programs your Web browser is configured to use.
In some cases when you select a link you should use your browser's BACK button to go back to the previous page.
